PERSONAL AND COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION!
What does city and regional transformation look like?
What are common roadblocks?
What are key principles to transformation for a city or region?
Imagine a community ...
where 85% of the population is born again,
jails close for lack of crime,
and agricultural productivity has reached biblical proportions.
Imagine a city ...
where 60,000 Christian jam stadiums for all-night prayer every 90 days,
a multi-billion dollar drug cartel is brought to its knees,
where united churches take the lead in public education and healthcare.
Imagine a region ...
where barren land now teems with life,
where epidemic abuse and suicide gives way to hope and healing,
believers are so hungry for God they trek hundreds of miles for
fellowship
and teaching.
Imagine a country ...
where a canopy of unity extends over nearly every denomination,
the president sends a revival torch to every town and district,
tribal chiefs hold mass rallies to dedicate their land and people back to God.
Imagine a nation ...
covenanted to God for the next 1000 years,
that has been recognized internationally for a dramatic decline in HIV/AIDS,
whose war-shattered economy is now one of the fastest growing in Africa.
Don't just imagine ... DARE TO BELIEVE!

Hope Church Madison |
 |
|
what is hope?
Hope Church was founded in 1988 by a group of people who were seeking to follow Christ and help others in Madison to do the same. Today our mission remains the same. We exist to make disciples who are equipped to think and act Biblically in Christian community and contemporary culture. We do this by coming together on Sunday to worship God through singing, testimony, and hear a message drawn from the Bible. We also do this through meeting throughout the week in small groups that seek to live life together and help each other follow Christ. Finally, we see touching our community as important so we seek to share Christ’s love through different opportunities in Madison, Huntsville, and beyond. Our services are contemporary both in worship style and atmosphere. We would love to have you join us.

Special Guest Mr. Russ Crosson
"A Life Well Spent"
Russ Crosson is President and CEO of Ronald Blue & Co., LLC (RB&Co.), financial, estate, tax, investment, and philanthropic advisory firm founded in 1979. Based in Atlanta, RB&Co. serves more than 5,000 clients throughout the world and is approaching $5 billion of investment assets under management.
Russ is the author of two books, Money & Your Marriage and A Life Well Spent, and has been a featured speaker in many venues including Promise Keepers. He and his wife, Julie, have led seminars around the country on the subject of money, marriage, and communication.
One of our members read Russ’ book, A Life Well Spent. It had a significant impact on his life. He writes ...
"A life well spent, does that sound like your life? In March 2003 when I was faced with unemployment and uncertainty about my future, I was not so sure.
After 8 years of pouring my entire life into growing a successful small business then having it abruptly terminated, I was looking for the next mountain to climb. Fortunately, a close friend gave me a copy of a book that shocked me with its clear and direct message. It changed my life.
Ask yourself these tough questions: Am I making a lasting difference with the investments of my time, money and resources? Am I influencing my children with my life? Or do you, like I did in March 2003, live by the same priorities as our culture?
I encourage you to come hear Russ Crosson speak. I am certain, if you are wrestling with these issues, God will use A Life Well Spent to change your life too. Don’t miss this opportunity!"
**Registration Deadline: On or before Tuesday, September 18th by calling the YBL office at 882-6003 or email us at ybl@arilion.com. Cost is $15 ea/$120 table of 8. Visit our webpage at www.yblhsv.org

International Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ)
|
|
The international Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ) occurs annually the first Sunday of each October. This is a unique international effort to fulfill the biblical mandate to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. What is the Day to Pray?
The International Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, instituted with the endorsement of hundreds of Christian leaders from around the world, representing tens of millions of Christians, will be held annually on the first Sunday of every October, until the coming of Messiah. Our call is for sustained, fervent, informed global intercession for the plans and purposes of God for Jerusalem and all her people. This global grassroots prayer initiative coincides with the season of Yom Kippur , and for the first time in Church history, makes an effort at linking the Christian liturgical calendar with the Biblical, Jewish calendar.
Our goal, by God's grace, is that by October 2007 we will have:
• 100 participating nations
• 100 million believers participating
• 100,000 churches committed to pray
• over 1400 minutes of additional prayer via global teleconferencing
UNDERSTANDING...that we are children of Abraham by faith, the "wild olive branch" grafted in to the root of God's covenant (Romans 11:17-26), and,
RECOGNIZING....that God has kept his word to Abraham and His descendants and settled them in their homeland again, according to the word of the prophets (Amos 9:14-15),(Ezekiel 36: esp. v.24), and,
RECOGNIZING...that we have a biblical mandate according to Psalm 122, and many other Scriptures to seek the good and prosperity of Jerusalem, until the Lord makes her a praise in all the earth, and
AFFIRMING...that God's love and intended blessing is for all nations and peoples, and that we have goodwill and love for all mankind, including all inhabitants of the Holy Land, and desire the peace of this entire region;
WE, THE UNDERSIGNED call upon all men and women of prayer to yearly set aside the First Sunday in October, near the season of Yom Kippur, as the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem.
