“Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us; therefore let us keep the feast.”
(1 Cor 5:7-8)

Eating together is the universal gesture of love and acceptance in every culture. The Kingdom of God is no exception. Through the blood of Christ we are one. Sitting together at the table of the Lord demonstrates this common-union and oneness. We invite you to participate in a corporate fellowship meal, praise & worship and communion. Believers from many streams of the Christian faith will be celebrating together at this "Christ our Passover." A dramatic demonstration of how Christ is revealed in the Hebrew Seder (Passover) meal will be presented. Honor the deathday of our wonderful Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He said, “as often as you do it, you do it in remembrance of me.” Since He died on Passover, this day has special communion significance.

2006 THEME: Unity through the blood of the Lamb! Jesus prayed: "I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in Me because of their testimony. My prayer for all of them is that they will be one, just as You and I are one, Father - that just as you are in Me and I am in You, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you sent Me." (John 17:20-21) We are all of one blood!

Educate to Liberate

Our Emphasis this year will be on EDUCATION. Dr. Marvin Wilson will be the guest speaker and share with us the greater significance of the Christ Our Passover Celebration in Huntsville. Dr. Marvin Wilson is the Professor and Chairman of Biblical and Theological Studies at Gordon College, Wenham, MA and author of the best selling Hebrew Roots book called "Our Father Abraham - The Jewish Roots of our Christian Faith." He served as an Old Testament translator for the New International Version of the Bible.

Admission Price

Admission price is $15 per plate, which will go entirely toward expenses. Our desire is for everyone to attend, and so we have developed a sponsorship program through individuals and churches for those who may need assistance to attend. Please call (256) 882-7651 to order your tickets or mail seat requests to P.O. Box 364, Huntsville, AL 35804.

We are confident that you will leave this celebration knowing you have genuinely honored your Lord!

Day of Consecration - Good Friday Service

"A Day of Consecration"
Area-Wide Good Friday Service

Three years ago, Brother Darryl Robinson and Called to Glory Ministries were instrumental in hosting an Area-Wide Good Friday Service including ministry leaders and congregations from throughout the Greater Huntsville area, with the host location that initial year being Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

This year will continue to expand on the growing vision as a representation of diverse pastoral leadership again joins with congregations from across the community for the next Day of Consecration - Area-Wide Good Friday Service to be hosted in 2006 by The Rock Family Worship Center (2300 Memorial Pkwy S - Map).

We invite you to join with churches from throughout the city as we celebrate together the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Global Day of Prayer (GDOP)

Africa invites the world ...

An incredible opportunity continues for us (the Christian community of Greater Huntsville) in association with an international effort known as the "Global Day of Prayer" (GDOP) ...

From sunrise in the East to sunset in the West, Christians will fill stadiums across the globe for worship and prayer on Pentecost Sunday, June 4th 2006. The focus includes our cities/communities, our nation/continent, and the nations of the world. Over 200,000,000 Christians are expected to participate, including leadership from 6 continents and over 240 nations, with international broadcasts that will occur from at least one stadium from each timezone.

  The strategy in 3-fold:
1.) Mobilize 10 days of 24 hour prayer leading up to Pentecost Sunday (May 25th - June 4th, 2006)
2.) Mobilize a public stadium event Pentecost Sunday (June 4th, 2006)
3.) Mobilize 90 days to bless the city - mercy and compassion ministry to areas of need (June 5th - Sept 2nd, 2006)

About The Dwelling Place

OUR MISSION

To be passionately in love with Jesus and committed to living, preaching and demonstrating the Kingdom of God.

OUR VISION

To see every kindred, tongue, people and nation redeemed unto God to become His Dwelling Place.

"Now the dwelling of God is with men and He will live with them." -- A Loud Voice from the Throne

OUR CORE VALUES

Prayer: God's purposes are accomplished on earth through the intercession of His church. We are to pray for His Kingdom to come and His Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. His House is to be called a House of Prayer.
Worship: Passionate worship allows us to express our love toward God. As we worship Him in Spirit and in truth we encounter an intimate relationship between our heart and His.
Outreach: Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the gospel therefore we participate in and support local and global evangelism.

Equipping: Every person has a God given destiny. Unfortunately many people never fulfill that destiny even among believers. It is vital therefore that all believers discover their destiny in Christ and that they are released into it. The present ministry of the Fivefold ministry gifts (i.e. apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) were given to equip and prepare God's people. This is accomplished through teaching, discipleship, activation and impartation.
Family: The most important relationship outside of our personal relationship with God is our relationship with our family. If we are not real in our own house, we are not real anywhere.
Youth: Malachi 4:5-6 states that before the Lord returns that the spirit of Elijah will come to turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers. Joel 2:28 states that in the last days "your sons and daughters will prophesy." God is releasing a prophetic anointing on the youth who desperately need spiritual fathers and mothers to mentor them and cast the mantle.
Unity: Jesus prayed that we would be one just as He and the Father are one. Unity is not conforming to the doctrines, ideas, opinions, etc. of others, but a commitment to walk in covenant relationships with each other, despite our differences. Jesus said that unity would show the world that God sent Him and that God loved them. We believe that God is uniting the Body of Christ to reap a worldwide harvest into His Kingdom.
Giving: God loves a cheerful giver. We believe in the joyful and sacrificial giving of tithes and offerings as an expression of worship to God and as a means to expand His Kingdom.
Faith: It is impossible to please God without faith. We should endeavor to live by faith in God's Word as it pertains to every area of our life (i.e. spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and financially.)

How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. (Psalm 133)

Greater Huntsville Women's Leadership Network (GHWLN)
networking women in leadership to impact our communities for Christ

Networking a Community of Faith:

Equipping you as you forge intentional community with other Christian leaders and efforts in our cities.

The Greater Huntsville Women's Leadership Network is birthed out of a collective desire among women in leadership in our area to connect and unify the body of Christ as we reach out to those in our midst with the love of Jesus Christ.

We are purposing to connect all demographics, races, Christ-centered denominations, and Biblical efforts in our city, in order that the true sense of koinonia, or community, may be achieved, as set forth by Scripture.

Our main focus will be corporate prayer, with the realization that powerful connections, networks, and efforts will emerge as we seek the Lord together. Times of networking and special events will also be incorporated into our times of fellowship together.

REBUILD PEARLINGTON…….
one brick at a time.

The little coastal community of Pearlington, MS (click here for map), was all but destroyed by hurrican Katrina which hit the Gulf Coast August 29, 2005.  Every home and business was affected in one way or another by the storm and many homes were left uninhabitable. Most are still that way.  A group of concerned Christians from the Huntsville, Alabama area have become burdened for this community, its residents and their ongoing needs.  Please take time to visit the links given below and email me if you have things to add to the site or if you wish to contribute to the relief efforts in some way.  Almost every month, a team is going back to Pearlington to help clear out houses, provide needed materials, paint, repair and in general, try to give hope where it has been dashed to pieces.  The brave families who are left here are trying very hard to rebuild their lives in a place where homes and cars have been lost and jobs are few and far between.
