Grace Lutheran Church and School cordially invites the Huntsville Community to attend our Dedication Service and festivities on February 12.
From 2-4 P.M. the school will host an Open House. Tours will be given of both the improved facilities and the new building. You are welcome to visit classrooms and meet teachers and staff from the Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade and from the Mommies Time Out day care.
At 4:30 the community is invited to stay for the Dedication Service of the New Family Life Center. Mayor Loretta Spencer will speak, as well as key individuals who were involved in the building program. Also participating will be children from the School and Sunday School, the Middle School Band, Adult Choir, and handbells. Food and fellowship will follow the service.
Key features of the Family Life Center include a High School regulation size gymnasium, modern kitchen, community room, youth center, and office complex. There are also blue prints for a future building program to complete the second floor with science and art labs and multiple classrooms.
The purpose of the building is to help us fulfill our God given mission internally and with our neighbors: Empowered by the Holy Spirit we worship God, grow in faith and service, and boldly share the love of Jesus. Our buildings, people and activities exist to advance worship, sharing the Good News of Jesus, fellowship with each other, growth in discipleship, and ministering to the needs of each other and our community.
