Volunteer to Help
The purpose of this event is to rally any and all evacuees still in our area, assess their current needs and direct them to the those who can best meet that need. There is great need to participation from church groups to volunteer and help in some of the following ways. There will also be a rest and ministry area that any church may have a representative to simply sit and visit offering words of encouragement. Several of these are fairly large tasks and may require more than one church. Please choose an area and provide your contact information. Please pray about how you might be involved.
Please volunteer to help here!

Gifts, Help, and Services Freely Provided at the Resource Fair:

  • Special Time and Attention for the Children!
  • List of Free Resources Available to Evacuees!
  • Free Bag Lunch!
  • Free Bible!
  • Free Picture ID for Evacuees! This will provide you easy access to Valley and community relief resources as a "verified" evacuee in our area (you may also register with The Red Cross, if haven't already).

PHYSICAL HELP
There will be representatives from community agencies and churches throughout the Valley to make freely available to you resources you may currently need, as well as get feedback from you as to your changing needs so preparation for those may also occur.

EMOTIONAL HELP
Due to such traumatic impact to lives and families, certified case workers will be present that can also provide counseling if needed.

SPIRITUAL HELP
The churches of North Alabama sincerely care and desire to provide the opportunity to meet you and be there for you in order to help minister to your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in this time of crisis.
