Project Rebound / FEMA - Church Feedback Requested!
Project Rebound is a
FEMA funded crisis counseling outreach effort for Gulf Coast evacuees in Madison County. Our job is to listen and refer evacuees to resources in the community that will help speed the process of recovery from last years' hurricanes. We are currently housed at
Operation Restoration, a remodeled hotel that serves as temporary housing.
FEMA is conducting a new needs-assessment for our county. They have requested that we provide them with an estimate of the current number of Gulf Coast evacuees in Madison County. Could you please provide us with an estimate of the number of Gulf Coast evacuees who currently attend your church?
PLEASE provide this information through the online form below.
If you come across any evacuees, first-responders, or other people affected by last year's disaster feel free to provide them with our 24-hour crisis line number: 256-683-8830. Our trained disaster counselors are there to listen and will even come out to the evacuee's current place of residence if requested. We would be happy to provide you with additional information on our program in the form of flyers and hand-outs.
