“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." (1 Tim 2:1-2)

CIVIL GOVERNMENT (Mayor, Council Members, etc.)
• For wisdom from God for decisions, for one heart and mind as labor together, for sincere and pure motives in serving the people
• For clear vision and direction for our cities and communities, and for strong leadership coupled with humility
• For strength and protection for our civil leaders and for their families, and for God’s purpose in their lives to be fulfilled.

JUDICIAL SYSTEM (Judges, Lawyers, Court Employees)
• For our judicial system and judges to provide a true and just and righteous standard in our courts of law.
• For wisdom from God for just decisions and consequence to be administered to deter crime and redirect lives in a constructive way
• For strength, grace, and help to enable each to fulfill their delegated responsibility in a way that honors God and man

EDUCATION (Schools, School Boards, Teaching/Training, Home, Public, Institutional, etc.)
• For educators to have a love for learning coupled with a love for the student.
• For wisdom in the selection of curriculum and for complementing of intellectual principles with righteous moral principles and character.
• For peace, protection, and safety for students, faculty, families, administrators

POLICE, FIRE, RESCUE, HEMSI - “Except the Lord keep the city, the watchmen watch in vain.” (Ps 127:1)
• For protection and safety while serving and carrying out of their duties, and for wisdom in dealing with people and dangerous situations
• For integrity in all dealings, for strength and help, and for appropriate support and honor of their authority from the community
• For relationships with spouses and families (as stats show their work and hours may be very difficult for marriage and family)

MARRIAGES, FAMILIES, CHILDREN
• For strengthening of marriage and family relationships, for God's purpose to be fulfilled in the role of father, mother, husband, and wife.
• For the devastating trends of divorce to be reversed, for love and unity to fill hearts and homes, for God to be honored in the family.
• For healthy marriages and families to provide the foundation the LORD intended for a healthy city and community.

THE CHURCH (Congregations and the Body of Christ in Greater Huntsville) - “Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your unfailing love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation in our land.” (Psalm 85-6-9)
• For passion and faith to flourish, for one heart and mind and spirit, for the testimony of Jesus to burn brightly
• For grace and humility coupled with boldness, for fervent, united, and persevering prayer
• For compassion and demonstration of God's love in tangible ways that impact our cities and communities!
